Late goal hurts toothless Leeds

How fortuitous; a player I’ve ofted wanted at Leeds once again acting the super-sub to score a soft goal at the death.
My first away match of the season ended in disappointment.  Not only were we not really “at the races”, in that I can’t recall us ever threatening to take all 3 points, but the winning goal seemed to come in an unexpectedly long period of injury time.

The stats…

As it turns out, higher possession stats can often indicate that you’re picking the ball out of the stands more frequently than your opposition – which was certainly the case tonight.  Fewer shots, less incisive movement, no real threat…  Disappointing.  This match was there to be won and seemingly the team weren’t motivated enough to do so.
Let’s hope that losing points like this won’t hurt us late in the season, then.
